here's a cute little vid of one of my favourite girl crushes, zooey deschanel, dancing with the elfish joseph gordon levitt, to her track with m ward (why do you let me stay here). i quite like the vid, she's super cute.
radiohead's been quite prolific lately, too. aside from that overrated harry patch song that came out last week, i'm quite attached to thom's performance of his new song, the present tense. reminds me of other rh acoustic stuff that came out after ok computer. good acoustic stuff that may have been a little sullied by overproduction. i know, i know, blasphemy. but this song is pure and great. take a listen.
do you ever forget about something really awesome and amazing and then rediscover it? there's an amazing radiohead song, which i'm pretty sure originated in 95, but it was released in 2001. it's called true love waits and it's one of my favourites. i don't like the new version as much, i prefer the old acoustic one. i think sometimes thom ruins songs by making them too robotic, as if he's trying to drown the emotion out of them. which is sad. another song that i can't get enough of is talk show host. as far as i know, it wasn't on any major release, but i have it on the romeo and juliet soundtrack from the late nineties. i am hereby embarrassed by my radiohead knowledge. but they're so fucking good. so, yeah.
so, go find it on the interweb and take a listen. you will not be disappointed. how could you be? it's fucking radiohead.
hells to the yeah, bitches. radiohead's album is ready for download on oct 10. that's in nine days. meaning for the next nine days, i plan to not eat or sleep or bathe. okay, that's a lie, but i wanted to be a real fan or something. anywho, i'm so fucking excited. you can download some tracks for as much money as you like. as in, you choose the price. i think i will pay the minimum price as i plan to purchase the diskbox as soon as possible. but that is 40 pounds, so that kinda pisses me off. who are we kidding? i will pay any price. THIS IS GREAT.
AAAAND *nude* (aka big ideas) is FINALLY being released, along with bangers and mash and down is the new up, which you heard if you saw their last tour. egads! everything's coming up nikkers!!!
apparently the blogosphere doesn't like this track, but i just creamed my jeans. lupe is fucking amazing. add two of my hip-hop favourites, pharrell and kanye and THEN the god of all music, thom yorke and it equals instant hit for nikkers h.
this is AMAZING. the beautiful harmony of thom yorke's voice and the chill rap from lupe makes a great track. it's just great. that's all i can say about it because i'm speechless otherwise.
