there's always time for a meme, isn't there? sure there is. this was taken from someone i don't know, kate. the idea is to write down eight things people don't know about you. this proves difficult because i'm a pretty transparent person, meaning if there's something no one knows, it's probably because it's meant to be unknown. but let's see. little known facts about me:
1. i really like matchbox twenty. i'm not sure if no one knows this or they're just ignoring it because they think it's polite, but there you have it.
2. i used to voraciously devour babysitter's club and sweet valley twins* books from the ages of about 9-12.
3. i am the only full child of my parents. my brother and sisters are all half-siblings. people are often very confused about this.
4. i used to want to be a baker. now i don't really enjoy baking all that much.
5. i had a rather big crush on rider strong from boy meets world as a girl. coincidentally, he played a characted named rafe on veronica mars several years later. veronica mars = my favourite tv show, rafe = the name of my first long-term boyfriend! other odd crushes: bill welychka, former muchmusic vj (we later worked at the same company), kevin brauch, former TVO kids pj (who i later worked with indirectly) and avi lewis (hubba). avi lewis might be the weirdest one. what young girl has a crush on stephen lewis' son? a social democrat one, i guess!
6. i once stayed indoors for days mastering and finally beating the popular old woman game, bejewelled. not proudly, mind you.
7. i have never seen titanic. and i probably never will.
8. i don't like johnny depp!
now post some of your own!!
*not high
i probably already did this one a million times, but whatevs. love it!

I know I'll see you again
Whether far or soon.
But I need you to know that I care,
And I miss you.

Walking Zero, Sneaker Pimps
Unused, obsessed, my time is only given to you,
